Follow the steps below to make your inquiry and purchase:

Our response (price offer) to you will include an itemized account of the price
of your artwork, all feasible modes of transport with corresponding prices
including all-risk insurance

Upon further request we will send you an individual purchase contract

Upon the conclusion of the purchase contract ART TRANS undertakes to deliver
your selection(s) in accordance with your requests

General Purchase Conditions
All works of art sold through the ART TRANS Gallery are
original productions. ART TRANS cooperates directly with artists, galleries,
factories, and maintains direct communication with professional organizations
and people working in the sphere of art, such as museums and historians. Some
pieces of art are subject to export licenses issued by the museums.
ART TRANS company, ID no. 26506998, is registered at the
Regional Court of Prague, Czech Republic, section C, attachment 86528.
ART TRANS is involved in both wholesale and retails sale of
all gallery items.
An individual purchase contract shall be concluded with any
person or company interested in purchasing works of art from ART TRANS Gallery.
The said contract will comprise all details necessary and shall include consent
to these general conditions. Possible provisions of the purchase contract
derogating from the text of the general conditions shall take precedence over
that text. The purchase contract shall be signed both by ART TRANS and the
customer through facsimile, post, or in person.
These general purchase conditions apply to the purchase
contract and all steps preceding and succeeding the conclusion of the contract.
Artwork from all ART TRANS’ galleries are subject to
availability and may be withdrawn from sales at any time.
These conditions are enforced by the presiding laws in the
country of the seat of ART TRANS, s.r.o., and are in accordance with the laws
of the European Union.

Prices
Prices are not displayed on this site and will be provided
upon request in the price offer denoted in convertible currency. All
convertible currencies apply to purchases by bank transfer. Transactions are
made in Czech currency in case of credit card purchases. The given price for
customers who are buying from within the European Union include V.A.T. (Value
Added Tax). This tax is not included or paid by non-European Union customers.

Methods of Payment
Full payment must be received in advance before subject(s) of
purchase are dispatched.
Bank Transfer – A safe wire transfer directly to the
ART TRANS bank account. The customer is responsible for bank transfer fee.

Credit Card – ART TRANS accepts the following:

In order to make credit card purchases as secure as possible ART TRANS will not
ask for this private information over the internet in any form. This will be
done through facsimile or phone only.

ART TRANS asks customers to please provide notification of any special
restrictions they may have on their credit card, in advance.
Cash – Payment in person to an ART TRANS
representative.
Irrevocable Letter of Credit – The conditions must be
settled by both parties

Dispatch
Approximate dispatch time will be given in the price offer and
purchase contract. The items available are usually dispatched within 7 days
from full payment receipt. Dispatch times for certain pieces are subject to
their availability and may depend on production time i.e. chandeliers,
exclusive glass sets, porcelain, etc...
ART TRANS will notify the customer of transfer to the first
carrier in writing, by email or facsimile. All information required for the
transfer of goods at the place of delivery shall be included in correspondence.

ART TRANS offers the most suitable methods of transport and
cooperates with reputable forwarding companies i.e. FEDEX, UPS, Panalpina,
International Post, etc...

Shipping Time
Approximate shipping times for different types of transport
will be given in the price offer and are also listed on
www.shipping.cz. ART TRANS understands that shipping time is important
to the customer when timely arrival is essential; therefore if the customer
does not receive the package within the specified time it is necessary to
contact ART TRANS.
Exact shipping time is not guaranteed by any carrier due to
unforeseen circumstances such as acts of God i.e. hurricane, tornado,
earthquake, etc. The carrier is not responsible for delays caused by strikes,
customs clearance procedures and other acts caused by a third party.

Delivery Conditions
The delivery conditions stated in the purchase contract are in
compliance with the international INCOTERMS 2000 principles, adopted by the
International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
Unless otherwise stipulated, the delivery condition under
which the goods are delivered is CIP i.e. customer has paid for the goods,
costs of transport to the place of delivery, as well as the insurance of goods
before the subject of purchase is dispatched. Where the place of delivery is
different from the recipient’s address he/she shall cover any additional costs
of transport.
The customer is liable for any additional fees or costs that
might arise at the place of delivery i.e. duty, various local fees and taxes.

Tracking
ART TRANS has provided an on-line tracking system (www.shipping.cz)
that allows customers access to the details of their shipment during the course
of transit. The delivery of goods contract number corresponds to the purchase
contract number, which can be used to find the following information:

Insurance & Claims
1. Insurance
ART TRANS offers a complete all-risk insurance package (www.shipping.cz)
for all pieces purchased through the ART TRANS Gallery. This coverage insures
goods until the date they are received and inspected by the customer (the
inspection must follow immediately after receiving goods from the last
carrier).
2. Claims
a) Claims due damage caused during transportation:
In the event that damage occurs, the customer must notify ART
TRANS in writing within 10 days of receiving purchase. ART TRANS requires
detailed photographs of the damaged piece(s). Comprehensive instructions on the
claims process are included in each shipment.
b) Claims due to production errors:
The claims procedure begins with the claim letter sent from
the customer to ART TRANS accompanied by detailed photographs of the error. ART
TRANS will recommend a solution to the problem.
* In all the above mentioned cases, the customer must give
full cooperation with ART TRANS and follow all given instructions.
c) Other Claims:
ART TRANS offers through it’s galleries entirely new products
as well as antiquities. New products are chandeliers, crystal, and/or porcelain
products, which are made to order. Based on this fact, these products are not
subject to return.
The state of works of art and antiquities is agreed upon
between the customer and ART TRANS through detailed pictures and the official
declared state of the works of art and antiquities. This is done before
shipment, which voids any later claim based on the condition of the received
goods.
Any other claims are resolved through sections (a) and (b)
above.

Privacy Statement
ART TRANS understands that giving personal information to
anyone can lead to unwanted solicitation. We make a firm commitment to keep all
personal, customer information solely within our company database. Contact
information is retained to send orders to our customers and contact them when
necessary. No information gathered from ART TRANS’ website is given to third
party organizations.

Applicable Law and Arbitration Clause
The purchase contract signed by the customer shall be
construed, enforced, and performed in compliance with statutes of the Czech
Republic in accordance with European Union regulations and Commercial Codes.
All disputes arising hereunder shall be litigated in the Court of Arbitration
at the Czech Republic Chamber of Commerce and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech
Republic.
